Epsom Public Library Trustees' Meeting
November 13, 2007

Old Business:

The policy/procedure manual was revised. A dress code and personal computer use policy by employees should be added to our personnel handbook.
6 P. M. - A hearing for the acceptance of grants and donations was officially open; the hearing was officially closed at 6:45 p. m. The Trustees voted to unanimously accept accept all grants and donations. They are:
- In memory of Bob Tripp $ 25.00
- In memory of Eleanor Ambs 845.00
- Thirdgraders 65.85
- Grant-Downloadable Audio Books 600.00
- General Donation 100.00
- Donation for Audio Books 250.00
- Donation - Video (via friends) 500.00
- Donations to the Building Fund 5,209.00

New Business:

A volunteer recognition event is under consideration for January.
The AC does not appear to be fixed after 2 visits from the installing company. Valerie will contact Frank Lemay about the next steps we should take to remedy the situation.
Cheryl explained that we have 3 telephone lines - 1 for general use, 1 for the alarm and a back-up line for the alarm - this has been the reason for high telephone bills.
Nancy will located the name of the security company used by the Canterbury Library in order to gather more information about motion detectors and panic buttons.
November 29, 2007, 7p.m., is the budget committee meeting. A work session for the committee is December 13th. January 10,2008 is the public hearing. Our next meeting is December 10th at 5pm.
