Library Services
- Magazines
- The library subscribes to approximately forty magazines which circulate for a one week period. Back issues of magazines are kept one year.
- Historical Collection
- The Library has a collection of New Hampshire town histories and Epsom town reports
- Large Print Books
- Large print books may be ordered from the Sate Library Handicapped Division. The Epsom library also maintains a small collection.
- Service to Shut-Ins
- Volunteers will either bring books to the borrower or bring the borrower to the library.
- Photocopier
- A copier is available for public use. Copies are 15 cents each.
- Public Use Computers
- The library has two computers which patrons may use for word processing, access to the internet.
- Public Meeting Room
- The Karley Rose Towne Meeting Room is a public meeting room available for group meetings. Contact the library for details.
- Children's Programs
- Each summer the library and The Friends of the Library sponsor programs for children. There are also children's programs throughout the year. Read about them in our news area.
- Friends of the Library
- An active friends group works closely with the library supplementing programs and funding. Meetings are the second Monday of the month at 7:00 P.M. and new members are always welcome!
- Christa McAuliffe Planetarium passes
- The pass can be applied for up to $26.00 off the cost of the regular planetarium admission and is good for one patron, per day, towards one show per day. Reservations are recommended but are not required.
- Book Discussion Groups
- Informal groups which meet monthly to discuss books which have been chosen by the members.
- VHS & DVD
- The library has a growing collection of video cassettes and DVDs.
- Audio Books
- The library has a collection of audiobooks pn casette and CD. Great to listen to while traveling, doing work around the house or relaxing.
- Download Audio Books
- Patrons may access and download audio books from the New Hampshire State Library. Anyone who wishes to do so can go to nh.lib.overdrive.com, and browse the selections. Prior to checking out, the patron must call the Epsom Library for its code and library card number. Books can then be burned to a CD or transferred to an MP3 Player. This is a free service.
- And of course, books
- The library has a collection of over 17,000 books and the means of getting almost any other book or periodical article you desire through the State Library Interlibrary Loan program.
