Library Passes – Donated by The Friends of the Library
The library has recently received two passes to Strawbery Banke which provide free daily admission for two adults and up to four children 17 and under.
In addition, the library also offers passes to the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, the SEE Science Center, and Shaker Village.
At the McAuliffe-Shepard Center, two passes are available, and each pass admits up to four people for Discovery Center Exhibit Galleries. The Exhibit Galleries feature engaging hands-on science and engineering exhibits to explore and enjoy. It is self-guided, and you may interact with Discovery Center Educators to enhance your visit. Planetarium shows are an additional cost, per person, per show and are not included in the library pass. Advance reservations for the shows are recommended but are not required. From Labor Day through June 15, the Center is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday nights from 6:30 to 9 p.m., with the exception of school vacation weeks when the Center will be open seven days a week.
Each pass for the SEE Science Center allows one family a visit free of charge. A family includes immediate members of one household, plus grandparents. The Center is open seven days a week: Monday – Friday 10 am to 4 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm.
