MARCH 2021 NEWSLETTER

CONCORD VNA ONLINE PROGRAMS

      The Concord VNA is offering a six-week

interactive workshop, Better Choices, Better Health, on Mondays from February 1 – March 8 from 13:30 p.m.

      The workshop is for adults age 18 and older living with or caring for someone with arthritis, diabetes, hypertension or any other ongoing health condition.

      The workshop provides valuable tools and information to help manage disease symptoms, maintain proper nutrition and exercise, and communicate with your healthcare provider and more.

      The Aging Mastery Program, offered

February 4 – April 8 from 10 – 11:30 a.m., is a comprehensive and fun approach to living that celebrates the gift of longevity.

      Core classes focus on such topics as

Navigating Longer Lives, Exercise and You, Sleep,

Healthy Eating and Hydration, Falls prevention, Advance Planning, Medication Management, and more.

      Registration is required for both programs.

Please note: A camera and microphone are needed to complete the program. Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a link to the program.  Technical instruction is available to participate in the group.

MEET THE CANDIDATES

      The Friends of the Library will be hosting a

Virtual Meet the Candidates Forum on Sunday, February 28, at 2:00 p.m.  This opportunity to hear from the candidates for Town & School and pose questions to them will be via ZOOM. The link and call-in information will be available on the Epsom Library website: epsomlibrary.com or call (603)736-9920.

LIBRARY CLOSING

      The library will be closed on Monday, February 15 in observance of Presidents’ Day.

AARP TAX AIDE PROGRAM

      The AARP Tax Aide Program is currently underway.  You are encouraged to go online to nhtaxhelp.org to start the reservation process fill out the questionnaire, or you may call 211.  You will need to give your name and phone number and other information as requested to get on the reservation list.  An IRS certified tax preparer will contact you via phone - watch for (978)905-8271 or via email - watch for
